Configure Gmail on iPhone
Upon lots of people request today i will tell you how to use or config GMAIL on you iPhone, you people just need to follow some step and in the end it will work definitely
- first of all you need to check that you IMAP option in your GMail account in checked?
- If Not then goo to “setting: after log in
- Click on setting> click ”Forwarding and POP/IMAP”
- enable IMAP service then save changing
Now its time ti setup you IPHONE application
- On your iPhone, tap “Settings” -> “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” -> “Add Account”. Then tap “Other”. Remember you should tap “Other” instead of “Gmail”
- then add Mail Account
- fill the require information
- Now you need to fill in the incoming and outgoing server information. For incoming server, please use “image.gmail.com” as the host name and fill in your Gmail address as the user name
- For the outgoing server, please use “smtp.gmail.com” as the host name and your Gmail address as the user name. Also, key in your Gmail password.
- Tap “Save” once you have configured the server settings. iPhone then connects to Gmail server and verifies your Gmail account. If everything works well, you’ll see a new account in the Mail settings.
